THE PROJECT

The project will develop an innovative system for the use of a self-sustaining nozzle (SAP) to deploy water over a fire front of a forest fire with the aim of protecting the fire-fighters, avoiding their direct exposure to the fire front. The movement and positioning of the system will be controlled by the coupling of a multi-rotor “DRONE” that lifts and supports a water line powered by a standard vehicle firefighting making use of the impulse created by the water jet as well.
